There’s one final step in Observing Product Usage: sharing your insights.
Teams have a tendency to silo along their functional roles. In smaller, earlier stage teams, this is easier to combat. However, as your team grows, silos will become hard to identify and break down.
To help with this, a great practice is to share your insights with the entire team quickly via an interview snapshot.
Interview snapshots are quick and easy ways to help someone not connected to the interview or project understand the key takeaways and insights from an interview. Below is a template for an interview snapshot in Miro, but you can take this format an apply in a multitude of different tools depending on what your organization uses.
When you complete your interviews, you should create both your User Journey Map and your Interview Snapshot quickly, ideally the same day, so that the information you’re gathering remains fresh and relevant.
